This is a guide to creating network artefacts that ensure effective knowledge transfer. Most communities of learners produce a range of different documents and products that show network activity taking place. But some products - be they research reports, DVDs or online resources - focus on the outcomes of the activity and evidence the learning and changes taking place. These are the project's artefacts. The document includes a step-by-step 'learner guide' to creating a network artefact, together with a template for writing a commentary on an artefact to share with others.
