A practical way of auditing and evaluating how good you are at engaging with the parents of your pupils.

This set of templates allow you to summarise what you are currently doing and help you focus on how you can develop further links with parents and the local community. The five following themes help you frame your audit:

  • vision, values culture and strategic direction
  • leadership of parental engagement
  • parental engagement in practice
  • collaborative work beyond the school, centre and cluster
  • sustainability

These templates support the guidance in the publication called Leadership for parental improvement - a tool to help you audit and improve your practice.
