This report examines the effect that staff and student gender has on attempts to implement a whole-school behaviour policy. It considers the ways in which boys and girls behave differently in schools, whether male and female teachers demonstrate gender prejudice when responding to student behaviour issues and student attitudes to whole-school behaviour policies.
