This document explores a range of models for school self-evaluation, gives an overview of the tools available to support it and provides vignettes of practice in five schools, both primary and secondary.
Ten examples of self-evaluation tools are given and drawn from a range of sources including teachers and pupils themselves. It highlights each tool's:
- context and fitness for purpose
- potential advantages
- potential disadvantages
