Corporate services

Caroline Maley, Chief Operating Officer

Caroline is Chief Operating Officer for the National College, working with the chief executive officer (CEO) and other executive directors on the delivery of the National College's strategic vision and direction.

She has direct responsibility for corporate services and line responsibility for human resources (HR), finance and corporate planning, commercial, evaluation and performance, membership, information communications technology (ICT), facilities and management information systems (MIS).

Caroline qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa before moving to the UK in the mid-1980s. She has held a diverse range of positions including audit and assurance partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), head of internal brand for Capital One in the UK, with a remit to increase the customer focus of the company, through to most recently being CEO of Derbyshire Health United, the provider of out-of-hours medical services for Derbyshire.
