About the Learning and Conference Centre

Innovative and inspirational, the Learning and Conference Centre is a purpose-built venue, opened in 2002 as a unique learning environment. Our goal for the National College is transforming the lives and life chances of children and young people through the development of world-class leaders. This state-of-the-art building is set in tranquil lakeside grounds and staffed by experienced event organisers. It has fully-equipped conference and meeting facilities, with innovative catering provided by Sodexo, one of the largest hospitality and support services companies in the world.

The Learning and Conference Centre is a focus for the College's busy conference and training programme. It offers conference and meeting facilities for up to 250 delegates, including 96 comfortable and modern bedrooms, 13 conference rooms, 15 syndicate rooms and associated hospitality services. The centre also strives to act in the interest of conservation, with environmentally friendly equipment and systems throughout. With its lakeside setting and landscaped surroundings, it provides a truly relaxing and inspirational environment.
