Achievement for All workshop: Henry Winkler's presentation

Our strategic initiatives primary team held a workshop at our Annual Conference that showcased the Achievement for All Project and its impact on children and young people identified with special educational needs and disabilities in primary, secondary and special schools.

The workshop was attended by the actor and advocate for children’s rights, Henry Winkler.  He spoke about his own personal struggle with dyslexia, the work of First News (the award-winning children’s newspaper), and his role as an ambassador for the ‘My Way’ campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the many different ways children learn and to celebrate their success.
