Network with others
As a member, you’ll have more opportunities to network with peers, leadership experts and others working in the wider education and children’s services system. You’ll be able to choose from an extensive range of face-to-face networking events. You’ll also have access to our new online network, enabling you to find and engage with other members, interest groups and discussion forums – in other words you’ll have the combined experience and expertise of thousands of leaders at your finger tips.
Leadership development
As a member, you’ll have access to the full National College Leadership Library, including publications, research documents, as well as e-learning resources from Harvard and Ashridge business schools. You’ll also be able to draw on a rich programme of online seminars and hotseats with key educational thinkers, as well as diagnostic tools to help you assess your leadership development needs and decide on the best way to address these.
A personal approach
We treat you as an individual. Our website provides you with a personal profile enabling you to flag professional areas of interest and track your personal leadership development; our members’ e-newsletter is personalised to your role and region; and we listen to your views through our regular consultation opportunities where you can influence College activities and education policy. Members also have access to a new online and telephone service - Ask the National College - where your questions about individual leadership and career development will be answered by specialist advisers.
