Operational associates framework

The operational associates framework is an electronic system which has been established by the National College to purchase operational associate services. The duration of the framework will be four years from February 2010.

The National College will use the operational associates framework to purchase the services of individuals who have the expertise to provide operational education services and social services.

We are seeking to engage with associates to undertake a variety of activities. The duration of these activities is likely to range from two to three days or up to a year or more.

Operational associates must have expertise or experience in leadership development in an English context for one (or more) of the following areas:

• early years settings – for leaders in children’s centres
• schools - for all school leaders; from those taking their first leadership role to experienced headteachers
• children’s services - for directors of children’s services and those who aspire to the role

• visibility of tendering opportunities
• long-term business planning
• long-term business relationships

Who can register?

Associates can join the framework if they have:

• registered on Redimo supplier self service
• the knowledge and experience within early years, schools or children’s services
• the ability to demonstrate one or more of the defined skill sets
• read membership of the operational associates framework terms and conditions
• accepted the supply of services by an operational associate: terms and conditions

To register multiple associates onto the operational associates framework, each associate requires a separate Redimo registration account. The individual’s name must be recorded in the company name field on the Redimo system as first name, second name, trading as company/school name. For example, John Smith trading as National College for School Leadership.
