SBM workshop: Project management in schools

This workshop provides basic project management skills to enable leaders to operate more effectively.

The aims of the workshop are to:

• develop your knowledge of models of project management
• develop your understanding of common tools used in project management
• provide an opportunity for you to apply project management skills to a case study scenario
• develop awareness of the challenges to successful project management and to provide strategies for responding to them
• provide opportunities to reflect on your school’s approach to project management and how this might be improved

Who can apply?

The workshop is targeted at existing or aspiring school leaders with little or no formal training in project management.

What’s involved?

The workshop consists of six sessions, each being delivered at a face-to-face event. There is no assessment, however certificates will be awarded.
