International Programme for School Principals

The International Programme for School Principals (IPSP) is a modular programme in school leadership, certificated by the National College, in England. Underpinned by international school leadership standards, the programme offers principals worldwide, the opportunity for world-class training.
Who can apply?
Experienced principals can apply for the programme but they must have the support of their organisation.

What's involved?
The programme is designed around five modules based on professional standards and supported by the latest international research. A variety of learning methods will be used, including tutor-led workshops, individualised assessments, school-based learning and the intensive use of online resources and seminars. Tasks set are related to participant's roles in school.
The programme utilises a ‘blended learning’ approach, a mix of online and face to face learning.

IPSP will support leaders in becoming more highly effective in their roles by increasing leadership skills and confidence, while encouraging learning, self-reflection and development. Completion of all elements guarantees National College certification.

Duration
The minimum programme duration is four months, which includes a two week residential course.
