Who is the programme for?

To be eligible to apply for the International Programme for Schools Principals you must:

  • be an existing school principal seeking to develop your professional skills
  • have support from your organisation
  • be familiar with internet use and online working
  • be interested in leadership study and the practical implementation of effective international research in your own school
  • be keen to learn from and network with similar principals from schools around the world  
  • be willing to commit to an intensive online learning programme requiring reading and practical school-based tasks
  • be able to participate in tutor-led workshops during the two week residential course
  • be willing to share your learning with colleagues in your school
  • be prepared to apply your learning to your leadership role, ensuring maximum impact on your own organisation
  • be able to communicate in English
