Costs for NPQH with British Schools in the Middle East
The cost for participation in the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) programme delivered in partnership with British Schools in the Middle East in Dubai will be £5,200. This will enable participants to:
- further understand their individual strengths and areas for development
- receive one-to-one support from a verified NPQH coach
- access a range of the National College’s leadership and management materials
- engage in peer learning with other aspiring headteachers
- attend and engage in relevant conferences, seminars and master classes
- experience leadership in a different context through a personalised placement
- access the National College's online communities
The cost of £5,200 excludes participants’ accommodation and travel expenses. Participants will be required to make their own arrangements and meet the expense of travel and accommodation when attending the:
- assessment and development event
- introductory day
- school placement
- graduation board
Payment arrangements
The payment for participation will be split into two stages. Applicants will be advised whether or not they have been successful in the first week of April 2012. They will then be informed of how to make payment to British Schools in the Middle East of
- £3,200 to be paid between 16–27 April 2012
- £2,000 to be paid the week commencing 3 September 2012
Late or non-payment will result in the National College withdrawing the participant from the programme. Should a participant withdraw from the programme or be withdrawn by the National College, no reimbursement of any fee will be made unless there are exceptional circumstances.
