Team resource pack

The team resource pack is to be completed by centre staff who are not part of the leadership team. This should encourage all staff to contribute to improvement and strengthen teamwork and development.

The pack is split into seven sections. The senior leadership team should firstly decide which sections staff should complete within each session. Sections take approximately 45 minutes to complete, and the pack has been structured so that sections can be completed independently of each other. Staff are asked to circle their response out of a scale from 1 to 4 (where 1=disagree and 4=agree) to a set of statements about your children’s centre. After completing the questionnaire, you will find a set of discussion questions for completion in pairs or small groups.

As part of this activity, encourage staff to develop action plans for promoting centre improvement. Ideally, the sessions should NOT be led by the centre leader.
