Academies: research into the leadership of sponsored and converting academies
In September 2010, the College asked PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to research leadership in sponsored and newly converting academies to gain a greater understanding of what it means for a successful school to convert to academy status, the leadership implications of doing so, and to explore whether there is a distinctive nature to leadership in academies.
We have summarised some of the main points and findings from the report.
