Working in partnership
School leadership is no longer about being a headteacher in a single school. Leadership now involves interacting with and working alongside other agencies and interest groups.
The government’s Every Child Matters (ECM) programme is a benchmark for these types of multi-agency working: to achieve ECM objectives, school leaders will need to work in partnership with their communities and stakeholders.
