About Every Child Matters

The government’s Every Child Matters (ECM) strategy aims to improve outcomes for all children and young people. To achieve the five ECM outcomes you will need to work with partners, exploring new approaches to multi-agency working. As part of this, you will be offering extended services and working with parents, the community and families. All of this will have implications for your own leadership style and models. With other leaders around you, you will learn how to incorporate all of this into your planning, evaluation and quality assurance methods.
