Costs of Accelerate to Headship

For teachers following the Tomorrow’s Heads route who are currently employed in schools, the programme is fully subsidised.

Teachers following the Future Leaders route will have their salary paid in year one (up to £50,000) and from year two it is expected that they will have secured a full-time, permanent leadership post in a school.

As this is a personalised learning programme, it is difficult to be explicit about the time and cost commitments for non-teaching participants. In some instances, participants may be expected to spend considerable time in a school (up to two terms) and the College is not able to reimburse employers. If you are not currently employed as a teacher, we would encourage you to talk to the Accelerate to Headship team before progressing with your application.
