Who is Leadership Pathways for?

Leadership Pathways is for senior leaders or those aspiring to a senior leadership position in the next one to two years. Participants must:

  • have significant experience in school leadership roles
  • have an opportunity to undertake a whole-school leadership change project
  • have previous involvement in successful change management
  • have the motivation to direct their own leadership learning
  • be currently based in an educational setting
  • have identified and be willing to work in partnership with an in-school coach to further leadership learning
  • have the support of senior school leaders to undertake the programme (see expectations of a participant's school below)

Priority will be given to applications from senior leaders who are members of the senior leadership team within an educational establishment.

  • time and support for learning mentors to meet with coaches and participants in school
