You can now apply for both teaching schools designation and the National Leaders of Education and National Support Schools Programme using one application form.

Apply to become a national leader of education

The application round for the National Leaders of Education (NLE) and National Support Schools (NSS) Programme is now open and will close at midnight on Friday 24 February.

Please note the following key dates:

Reference deadline: 9 March 2012 at 5pm.
School visits to take place: 18 April–10 May 2012.
Decisions communicated to applicant: by 15 June 2012.
Induction event: 9 July 2012, Nottingham.
