Leadership Development

Maggie Farrar, Executive Director

Maggie leads the leadership development group at the National College.

She has responsibility for our work on Design and Product Development, Early Years Leadership, Licensed Provision, Primary School Leadership and Research and Development.

Prior to taking on this role Maggie was the College's Operational Director for Every Child Matters (ECM) and Standards. She qualified as a teacher and spent many years in teaching and leadership positions in London schools before moving to Birmingham to set up the University of the First Age, a national charity working with schools, families and communities to provide enrichment opportunities to children and young people beyond school.
